4MC, This is hot air carburetor mounted style 4 barrel Quadrajet carburetor. Choke element was mounted on the side of the carb, and drew hot air from the intake.

This purchase is for a custom built restored Quadrajet with original code stamp listed in description. The basic pricing is for level 1 build which is perfect for a stock engine. If you have some modifications or looking for more performance, you will need our level 2. For all out performance or racing, our level 3 delivers the results. Details of each build are provided in the services section.

Excellent Carb Refurb
I recently purchased a carburetor from QP for my 1972 Olds Cutass. After a small amount of adjustment on the idle mixture, it idles so much better than the prior carb that was recently rebuilt by another quadrajet shop. The power band is steady and strong as well, no hesitation or bog, and secondaries kick in right on time. QP also met their shipping estimate, which has not been my usual experience among many refurb shops. I highly recommend QP.
