Long Fuel Filter With Check Valve Spring and Gasket NEW 1972 to 1989.

I suspected my bowl to be draining back to tank so I needed a check valve. Perfect fit. Car starts right up now even after being idle for days.

It's not shown on this picture but the rubber check valve go to the fuel line side of filter. You need a check valve if you don't drive your vehicle every day because the gas WILL drain back to your gas tank.

Great product at a great price! I bought 3 of them to have spares.
