I would never restore a QudraJet without replacing these tubes. After the first time changing these and see what they look like after soaking in carb cleaner you would never really trust them. They are so inexpensive it just worth taking the chance. Qudrajet Power has made restoring your carburetor fun.

Came out just like on their YouTube video showed. the old ones looed ok until you pull them out and what the down side looks like.

Never take the chance of just cleaning your old ones. The orifice are so small and critical of proper operation of your carb that why take a chance of having to go back later and replace them anyway. Idle problems are not something you don't want to pull your hair over! You ain't getting any younger.

These corrected my rough idle from the increased cam size in my 74 Trans Am. I was idling at 15 to 1 A/F ratio with the factory tubes, and now at a much smoother idle at 12.5 to 1 a/f ratio. That carb was intially tuned for 100% gasoline, not our 90/10 mix we now are forced to run.

Necessarily need replacing when doing full rebuild.

These are beautifully machined, and correctly sized. If my engine does not idle correctly it won't be because of these!

It's nice to be able to order your idle pickup tubes already drilled to the size you want and not having to fight with getting the collars pressed back into place without bending and damaging the tubes or the hassle of having to rob tubes from another core because you damaged one in the whole process. To be able to order these tubes just makes life so much easier.

because they will screw right in the middle of your old Idle jets and you will be able to lever them right out ! Then just drill the new Idle jets (pickup tubes) to the size to compliment your set up ! These fit perfect !

Just arrived today (June 27). Glad to see that your tubes are two piece to allow future removal, if ever. Just did a couple of marine apps that had single piece units. Main tube ID was 0.042 (w/0.039 res) compared to OE ~0.052. Boat had to move so I drilled upper ID to 0.048 by hand and hopefully it reduces the fuel drag. Thanks for product.
