Was having issues with vacuum leaks under my quadrajet 67 Chevy Bel air 327. After a email to the technical side.i was recommended to use this kit(metal shield and gasket) BINGO..my issue was fixed. Not only does it help with unburned gas but it also seals imperfect intake and carb mounting. Highly recommend if you have a mysterious vacuum leak.
