4MV, This is divorced choke (remote choke) style 4 barrel Quadrajet carburetor. Choke element was mounted on the intake manifold and connected to the carburetor by rod.

This purchase is for a custom built restored Quadrajet with original code stamp listed in description. The basic pricing is for level 1 build which is perfect for a stock engine. If you have some modifications or looking for more performance, you will need our level 2. For all out performance or racing, our level 3 delivers the results. Details of each build are provided in the services section.

Thanks! Had to wait until the frigid temps improved to be able to test drive. The carb worked flawlessly. Only complaint I would have is that the hole in the side plate for the ball-fitting for the throttle cable was drilled out for a larger than factory fitting. Took some fiddling on my end, but not a big deal. I bet you see a lot of altered stuff with the various cores you get. At any rate, good job, and thanks. You have a good reference from me! I’ll contact you sometime in the future and have you tear into and determine if you can work your magic and save my factory original.
